Summary

A letter from Jemima Lloyd to Wilhelm Bleek, written at 8am on 21 November 1862, the day before their wedding. Jemima writes that Wilhelm's letter made her very happy, but she only has time to answer the "business part". She has not yet received Reid's letter but will send it to Wilhelm once it arrives. She conveys the day's arrangements involving Tom and Lucy, who feels "wonderfully well", and tells Wilhelm which wedding ale she prefers. She assures him that Mrs Roesch will provide the flowers, so he must not worry. Jemima reports feeling better, writing that when and how they meet today will depend on the "Mr Reid business", and she will write to him when Reid's "paper" comes. In a postscript, she asks him to post their letters and bring his card list when they meet later.
