Summary

A short letter from Jemima Lloyd to Wilhelm Bleek, dated 17 November 1862, less than a week before their wedding. She sends her prayer book, marked with edits to the marriage service, and wants to ask Rev. Glover to omit a part she may not be strong enough to stand through. She is sending Wilhelm the antenuptial contract, leaving the decision to him with "full trust". She also sends him a parcel and note from her Aunt Mary Anne, assuring Wilhelm of her sincerity in light of the "shock" her uncles' conduct may have given him about English people. She notes she has a cheque for the remainder of the £200, which Loui will change, and she will give him the sum tomorrow - she assures Wilhelm that "all that is mine is yours too". After urging him to take care, she signs off "until half past 9 tomorrow".
