Correspondence
A note from Jemima Lloyd to Wilhelm Bleek written on 15 Nov 1862 at 10am, a week before their wedding. She thanks Wilhelm for telling her something that must have "cost" him, assuring him it has not shaken her love or trust - only strengthened them. Though it caused "intense pain", she believes it was forced by circumstances she will understand in time and feels he was right to speak. Jemima promises she will not break down due to the waiting - she is "getting better and stronger and braver every hour" - and trusts he will not either. If Tuesday is not possible for the wedding, they will bear the delay. She leaves to see to the "business papers" so she can send them with Tom. A postscript refers to Mr Glover in relation to the wedding - and thanks him (and possibly Loui) for the letter and flowers.
